Katherine's new P.E. shoes

Katherine: I love my shoes so much, ya know why?

Me: Why?

Katherine: They actually make me look TALLER!

Me: I hadn't noticed that before. I guess they do make you look taller.

*Repeat this exact conversation every day she has worn her new shoes since school started. Only today I enjoyed a slight variation.

Katherine: My shoes make me look soooo tall.

Me: Yep, same as yesterday.

Katherine: No mom! Tall as a monkey!
